You know connect-the-dots drawings, the ones that only appear once the numbers are followed in order. Petit Pinceau builds them from your own photos. Each family picture becomes a silhouette to reveal dot by dot, as a bound book delivered to your door from €29.99, or as a downloadable digital version from €6.99.

How it works

You choose a format, upload your photos, and each one becomes two pages. On the left, the model page: your photo redrawn as a soft illustration, the finished drawing as it will appear. On the right, the dot-to-dot page: the drawing's silhouette replaced by numbered dots, with the face details already sketched in. Your child connects the dots from 1 to the end, recognizes who is hiding in the drawing, then colors it using the model. Our models prepare the illustration, then a dedicated step traces the silhouette and places the dots and numbers.

What makes this dot to dot different

These aren't generic drawings off the shelf: the silhouette, dots and numbers are computed on yourimage. Your child doesn't connect a dolphin or a rocket, they reveal their grandma, their dog, their brother. That moment of recognition at the end of the line is the magic of this range. What is a personalized dot-to-dot book?

It's a connect-the-dots book made from your own photos. How is it different from the coloring book or color by number?

The starting point is the same, your photos transformed, but the game changes. The coloring book gives an outline page to fill freely. Color by number guides the colors with a legend. Dot to dot adds a step before the coloring: the drawing only appears once the dots are connected. It's our most playful range, the one where the child reveals the memory themselves.

What age is it for?

As soon as a child recognizes numbers and can follow them in order, around 4 or 5. Our pages have between roughly twenty and sixty dots depending on the silhouette, with an easy-to-spot starting dot. It's also a sneaky little counting exercise.

Yes. It's a real bound book, printed on demand on paper that takes pencils and markers well, delivered to your door. The 6-photo format is saddle-stitched, the 12 and 24-photo formats have a hardback cover. Manufacturing is handled by our printing partner, as close as possible to the delivery address.

Can I try the digital version first?

Yes. The digital version is the same dot-to-dot book delivered as a PDF, ready to download right away, from €6.99. You see how your photos turn out without committing to the book, you keep the file, and you have 30 days to have it printed as a real bound book if you change your mind.

What if I don't like how a photo turns out?

Once your pages are generated, you have a window to swap, from your tracking space, the photos you're not happy with, with a new version on each try (1 swap included on the 6-photo format, 2 on the 12, 4 on the 24). And before any printing, our team reviews every book to check the dots and numbers are legible.
